Villa Baruffino is a private house located near Tavarnuzze, 10km south of Florence in Tuscany. Sleeping four, the villa has two bedrooms, one bathroom and a spectacular country view from the large terrace. The interiors are very comfortable, welcoming and (beautifully) in the style of the turn of the twentieth century.

The house is set on two levels. On the ground floor there is a large entrance with a living room and a dining area with fireplace and kitchen. From the dining area, via an internal staircase, you reach the master double bedroom, the bathroom with shower and tub, and the second double bedroom.

An equipped kitchen with four-ring gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and washing machine gives direct access to the garden, with a sunshade for your al fresco entertainment. Nearby, there is a large open space, reserved for guests, for parking the car. The house is about 70 square metres in size and accommodates four guests. The house has television (not satellite), a washing machine, air conditioning and window screens. On request your host can provide a kettle, toaster and American coffee machine.

This villa in Tuscany lies south of Florence, on one of the first hills of Chianti area after you pass Certosa Monastery. Sitting on the ridge of a charming hill along the road that brings you to Impruneta village, passing through the small villages of Baruffi and Le Rose. The house offers a striking view covering both the west side of Colleramole and Scandicci, the east side of Grassina and Bagno a Ripoli.


The location of the house is ideal, with the A1 motorway and the freeway to Siena as well as the Cassia road just 2km away by car. Florence is just 10km away, and there are plenty of shops just 2km away in the villages of Galluzzo or Tavarnuzze. About 3km from the house you can catch the 37 bus, taking you to the very centre of Florence (the station square). Please note that the villa has no landline but there is good cell/mobile phone reception. The owner lives in the next door villa, in case of emergencies.
