ITALIAN COUNTRY COTTAGE HOLIDAY RENTAL - CLOSE TO FLORENCE

Casa dell' Aia is a cosy cottage offering a relaxing country visit, yet only minutes from a large town with every service. The home was constructed 250 years ago for processing grain and it has been a family home for a number of years.

Located 20 kilometres (13 miles) to the south of Florence and 1 kilometre from San Casciano, the first exit from the autostrada that runs between Florence and Siena. Florence airport is 25 km (15 miles) away.

San Casciano�is a mediaeval walled town where you'll will find two great restaurants, a wonderful bakery, a store for fruit and vegetables, a wonderful butcher, a bank, Post Office and tourist office. You can also park in San Casciano and in 30 minutes be in the centre of Florence by bus.

The property sleeps 6 and comprises a master bedroom with a queen bed (cannot be divided) and en suite bathroom, a queen bedroom (beds can be divided) with bathroom (shower) in the hall just outside bedroom, and a twin bedroom (beds can be joined to make a queen) which uses a third bathroom with shower. On the ground floor are a small but comfortable living room with a non-working fireplace extending into a dining room, a friendly kitchen, and a pantry.

Household Amenities:

Central heating, 5-burner stove, cappuccino machine, screens on all the windows, dishwasher, toaster, laundry room with iron and�ironing board, washer, oriental rugs. The original cotto floors, beamed ceilings and original stone staircase offer historic charm.

Outside Features:

Lovely covered porch for al fresco dining, a second covered pergola at the front door. This house is part of a large estate, and there are two other adjacent rental properties. This house is available from May through September only.
