Situated in Umbria, close to the border with Tuscany, in the Pausillo Regional Natural Park, the Green Tree apartments are located in an ideal spot for anyone wanting the peace and relaxation of the Italian countryside, whilst at the same time having the artistic and cultural delights of both Umbria and Tuscany close to hand.

The nine apartments are surrounded by a large enclosed park of approximately 10000 m², part and parcel of an estate of 120000 m² of olive-trees and Mediterranean woods. Each apartment has its outside patio and/or a porch with tables, chairs and surrounding deck chairs. All guests have at their disposal a swimming pool with solarium, equipped areas for barbecue, games for children, mountain bikes, private and shaded parking.

The cottages have been delicately restored, using traditional methods and materials wherever possible - chestnut beams, hand made bricks and tiles, and local stone for exteriors. The rooms are charmingly furnished and decorated with local antiques, objects and assorted old implements, once part of everyday life.

The property rests on top of a hill at 400 metres above sea level, and is surrounded by olive-groves (more than 400 olive-trees produce an extraordinary olive oil) and woods of Mediterranean undergrowth, with various kinds of trees such as evergreen oaks, hornbeams, junipers and different varieties of pines. There is even an age-old cork tree, a real rarity for the local flora. The brushwood is rich in countless classes of shrubs such as broom, heather the dog rose, hawthorn and blackberry bushes.

Two small brooks flow at the lower part of the hill and bound the estate, and as far as wildlife goes, you may be lucky enough to see wild boars, hares, pheasants, common and grey partridges, or migratory birds such as turtle-doves, thrushes, wood-pigeons and woodcocks. There are numerous paths heading off into the Pausillo Regional Natural Park that can be used for nature walks or bicycle riding.

There are seven apartments in the main building (Quercia, sleeps 4+2, Cipresso and Olivo, sleeping 3+2, Leccio, Ginestra and Pino, sleeping 2+2, and Sughera, sleeping 4+3), plus a further two apartments in another building at 2 kilometres (Molino sleeps 2+2 and Olivara sleeps 4+2). Again, all apartments have autonomous heating, kitchen with dish washer, microwave oven, refrigerator, small safe, telephone, satellite television, as well as external tables and chairs for al fresco living.

Ground floor, living room with kitchen, day beds and fireplace, a double room, a small double room, two bathrooms. The living room and one of the bedrooms have an exit on the portico.

First floor: lounge with kitchen area, double divan bed and bathroom with shower. Ground floor: two bedrooms (one double and one twin or double) each with private bathroom with shower.

L'Olivo (Sleeps 2+3)

Ground floor, large living room with kitchen, day beds and fireplace, double room and bathroom.

Il Pino (Sleeps 2+2)

First floor, living room with kitchen and a double day bed, a bathroom and a double room. There is a loggia with a table, chairs, deck chairs and umbrella.

La Ginestra (Sleeps 2+2)

First floor, living room with kitchen and two day beds, bathroom and double room. There is a loggia with a table, chairs, deck chairs and umbrella.

L'Olivara (Sleeps 4+2)

First floor: large lounge with kitchen area, stove and double divan bed, two bedrooms (one double and one twin or double), bathroom with shower. In the little garden there is barbecue, table and chairs and umbrella.Use of illuminated swimming pool and solarium at the main property, 2 kilometres away.

Il Molino (Sleeps 2+2)
