The holiday apartment 'Castello' is located in the mediaeval borgo
of Montemerano, just a short way from the thermal spas and springs of Saturnia
in southern Tuscany. The property is roughly 60 square metres in size, and faces
onto one of the most charming squares in Tuscany, Piazza del Castello.
With its bathrooms of travertine marble, the old terra cotta tiles, and the
frescoed ceilings, the apartment evokes an atmosphere of times gone by. What
renders the apartment special is the combination of this antique atmosphere
with the modern comforts (for example colour television and a private telephone
line).
The entrance to the apartment is directly off the central piazza, and after
two steps you enter the kitchen/living area, rendered warm and welcoming by
the brick open fireplace. The kitchen is small but fully equipped, and this,
together with a small WC, completes the ground floor.
