Holiday accommodation rooms in central Florence, Tuscany
Holiday accommodation rooms in central Florence, Tuscany
A 19th century palazzo in the heart of Florence, just a few steps from
the Ponte Vecchio, boasting
five-star amenities in these ten sunny apartments overlooking the river Arno.
I'm sure Palazzo Fiorentino will truly exceed your expectations.
The Residence
is well situated, the architecture and attention to detail is superb,
the rooms are well-appointed and a good size. Perhaps most important
is
the friendly enthusiasm
of the young staff, all knowledgeable and very responsive to your requirements.
Recently opened
(at the end of 2004), this place is a true gem just waiting to be discovered;
the exquisite sense of design and attention to detail, the tasty breakfasts,
the 'come and see us any time' atmosphere ... all combine to offer the true
spirit of
bed and breakfast as opposed to the feeling of the 'formal' Palazzo.
The homely
atmosphere continues in the dining/breakfast room which has a superb
red arched brick ceiling. Here guests can chat around the communal breakfast
table and arrange to meet for drinks and read a book in front of the beautiful
old
fireplace.
The building is located on the banks of the River Arno, Florence, and looks out
onto
the
National Library. There are 10 rooms/apartments, including Studio, Suites,
and
one
very
unique Superior suite that is on the top floor and has its own private terrace.
