Holiday rental apartments and farmhouses between Florence and Arezzo, Tuscany, Italy
In one of the most beautiful parts
of the Tuscan countryside, bordering of the Casentino Forest National Park,
lies the charming 17th century hamlet of Fattoria Casentino, where a number
of farmhouses have been lovingly restored to provide a selection of apartments
(sleeping from 2 to 8 people) and free-standing farmhouse rentals (sleeping
from 4 to 10 people).
The apartments have been furnished with great attention to detail, in keeping
with their surroundings. The hamlet is perched high on a hill, commanding
dramatic
views of the surrounding area, and there is also a summer house with library.
A new function room (accommodates 40 people) for the sole use of the guests
has been a great success, with carefree clients passing evenings spent making
new
friends
and
exchanging
stories
on the days activities.
There are large, attractive swimming pools, as well as a playground (basketball,
soccer, volleyball, Ping-Pong), a tennis-court, and a children's garden. Guest
accommodation at Fattoria Casentino comprises 8 individual apartments and 5
detached villas. All the apartments and villas have comfortably furnished living-rooms
with traditional fireplaces, as well as central heating, fully equipped kitchens
with 4-ring hobs and refrigerator, ovens and dishwasher in some apartments,
and tiled bathrooms with shower. Note that there are now a further three additional
structures/apartments, again located roughly 500 metres from the main farm.
