Situated only 400 metres away from beautiful mediaeval town of Cortona, this
superb private villa has been recently converted from an old ruin. The Villa
Il Giardino (80 square metres) offers exceptionally spacious and supremely comfortable
accommodation of the highest quality, with country style rustic furniture and
the addition of extra homely touches. The villa has a large living room / kitchen
with full refrigerator/freezer, oven, 4-burner range and television.
As always in Tuscany, the living room - kitchen is the heart of the house, made
even more welcoming by the open fireplace. A flight of stairs leads up to the
mansard bedroom with queen-sized bed (please note that the highest point is
1.82 metres). With access from the living room, the second bedroom also has
a queen-sized bed and a bathroom with shower. The ground floor bedroom faces
onto (thanks to a French window) the house's private garden.
Accessible directly from the kitchen, there is a garden area with table, chairs
and umbrellas for perfect al fresco dining. The only other people you will see
on the estate, aside from the gardeners, are the charming family of 4 who own
it, and live in an independent house 30 metres away from the villa.
